I have always been fit and athletic and had good muscle tone. Of course, there is a little 'fluff' here and there but overall I have been fairly fit most of my life. @A MyLeukemiaTeam Member Found 'em! Can you tell I've had a few rounds of PT? LOL! I always break my feet, so far I've broken a big toe and my other foot in two places (I passed out and crashed into the bathroom door and somehow smashed my foot between the door and the dryer 😲😖😭). I also broke the tibia in my right leg a few years back. That along with neck surgery and low back problems has proven to give me quite a collection! I don't know where to start! I guess I will just try them until I find a resistance I like!
p.s. I also have a boot for each foot and a brace for the right wrist from a torn tendon in my thumb! LOL! I finally just started keeping everything for the next go around! I have played hard in my day, softball, volleyball, dirt bikes and hard work on the farm.
As a personal trainer with seniors I used machines and cables. In your condition I would use resistance bands. They come in s kit with different levels. Start light to see how u do with pain. I hv same issue but it actually helps.
I would be glad to show u some ways to use them..leave me a message here if interested.
Actually that's an excellent idea! I think I have an ice cream bucket of them stashed in my closet! I will check it out. Do the different color bands indicate different strength?
Clever Girl do you mind talking on messenger.
