Did anyone recently died of ALL in their 20s or early 30’s? Our son was diagnosed 3 years ago, and passed away in May this year after he turned 27 years old. Tried all the best and latest available treatments including several clinical trials at NIH and MD Anderson, CARt, NK cells, stem cell transplant etc.
I hate Leukemia - it’s a horrible cancer
That is heartbreaking,so sorry.
We were so hopeful that he could be cured after his first treatment worked and he was cancer free for over a year...His oncologists had all kinds of stats showing a high cure rate of pediatric ALL (under 30) ...
I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing his life at such a young age is awful. I was diagnosed with ALL at 30 about a year and a half ago and I'm in remission. I try not to think about it but every so often the thought of relapse comes into my head and it terrifies me. You're right, it is horrible.
I am sorry for your Loss.
