When I had Covid I smelled cigarette smoke. It was strange. It took three years to get my taste and smell back.

Hi MKP, I never smelled cigarette smoke, but I have noticed that some of the items I work with now have a stronger smell than they used to. I didn’t really think Sprycel caused that, but certainly something to think about. I work with lacquer and 2 part epoxy’s. The lacquer seems stronger now, but not the epoxy’s. Sorry I don’t have a more definitive answer. Take care.

Hi I have been on Sprycel for 9 years. I break out in rashes that turn into huge burning welts. I get the allergies like symptoms also. I found out I had the CML after having a stroke due to a aneurysm. I live in a wheelchair but am very happy to be alive.

Hi, I have CML and take Sprycel. I do not smell cigarette smoke!😁. My problem is no taste! So I have to as someone to be my taste sampler when I cook. I do have gunk in my head and throat. At least it’s not in my lungs. That’s how my CML was discovered. I thought I had pneumonia. My left lung and back hurt like it was pneumonia. Oncologist said my spleen was enlarged along with my heart. That is what was causing the pain! My main issue is fluid build up from Sprycel and my skin is speckled! Have a great Sunday!

Your sinuses may have dried out by having heaters on. Winter weather also will dry out your skin and sinuses. You may want to try a saline nasal spray. It’s an over the counter spray and will help your sinuses. Good luck
