I was recently diagnosed with MDS. I am nearing retirement age and we had hoped to travel. I want to know if I will be able to travel locally (in region/state)? Nationally? Internationally? Do you get treatments “on the road”?

From my husband's experience treatments are frequently and they make you tired with sometimes low blood counts plus the frequent blood tests. We did make a week trip to the beach but it was very low key. We didn't even do parties or crowded places for fear of infection's but every one is different and depends on what type of MDS you have. We had a cruise booked before he was diagnosed his doctor said cancel it last place you want to be is on a cruise.
