-IGG is your immune level and antibodies for infection fighting.
-CMP checks multiple levels including kidney and liver function.
-LDH shows any tissue damage in your body.
-CBC shows RBCs and WBCs among other levels.
-Auto differential shows percentages of various components of your white blood cells (infection fighting) among other things.
Hope this helps!

BettyGettyslvie, I'll try to explain what I found doing some research: 1) IGG measures the level of Immunoglobulin G (IgG) in your blood. IgG is the most common type of antibody in the body and plays a key role in protecting against infections and diseases. 2) Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP), is a group of blood tests for a broad overview of your health and metabolism. 3) CBC (complete blood count) measures the type of cells in your blood (red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. If your WBC is high this is a good indication you have a type of leukemia. 4) Auto Differential (DPC) measures the relative percentage of each type of white blood cell. 5) Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH) measures the level of lactate dehydrogenase enzyme found in various tissues through the body.
I have the various tests noted above 1, 2, 3 & 4 every six months on a regular basis. As you can see these tests can provide your doctor with a lot of data which will provide an accurate diagnosis. With this information the doctor and prescribe a treatment plan that will provide the best care for you.
I hope some of the above data will give you a better understanding of what you are dealing with.
Stay positive, take one day at a time. Don't worry... God is with you !! ๐Ÿ™

Understanding blood test results can feel overwhelming! Many MyLeukemiaTeam members recommend getting copies of all your bloodwork and taking time to carefully review and compare the numbers from test to test. This helps you track changes over time and better understand your health journey.

It's completely normal to feel confused about medical test results. The best approach is to write down any questions you have and discuss them with your healthcare team at your next appointment. They can explain what each number means for your specific situation. Remember that managing stress around medical tests is important for your overall wellbeing. Taking care of your mental health is a crucial part of your healthcare program. If you're feeling anxious about understanding your test results, consider bringing a friend or family member to appointments who can help take notes and ask questions.
