Hi. I am 53 and diagnosed with CLL in May 2025. It is suspected I have had since I was 48. At 49, Covid almost killed me. I was on ventilator for 53 days in ICU. My doctors told me it’s best for me to distance myself from people. No crowds. Do not get on an airplane. No cruise ships. Walk away from people who are coughing, sneezing or blowing. We know how my body dealt with Covid and they aren’t sure I will survive it again or the flu or pneumonia or RSV. My lungs are damaged, and I am on oxygen. My only symptoms right now are CT scan confirmed mild lymph node inflammation and feeling tired. My spleen looks normal. Watching and waiting. Bloodwork every 6 months.

JulieK2- hang in there. I've had COVID twice but NEVER totally the degree you suffered with . Make the most of everyday & WEAR A MASK ! I know how hard it is because no matter where we go there's something in the air or on a surface. I'm going to start wearing a mask on a regular basis & wiping all surfaces down with disinfectant- including grocery containers. Be very very cautious ❤️

Wow, Julie, you are lucky to be here. I hope your family lives close by or a drive away. No airplane is tough if family is far. 🙏
