I have recovered from my "cold" or "allergy" as I used my Navage, gargled with salt water, used my colodial silver spray, and was told that I could use Tylenol at a low dose and half that is recommended by docs for normies. I didn't take the Tylenol as I didn't have a headache. I did drink hot teas and bone broth. It lasted like a normal cold would. I agree with you on oncologists as they keep referring to contact my PCP for any other issues. I still let them know everything before contacting anyone else. I like my PCP but he is very much the same....wants to put me on more meds. At-any-rate, I am good today! I hope your New Year is going well. Thx.

Some people in my cml support group take allergy medication. I know that what you can take varies depending on what you are on. You should check with the pharmacist on any drug interactions as it's much more in their wheelhouse when compared to the oncologists. In my world, the oncologist cares about nothing but treating the cml. Which has been great for that but miserable for anything like a side effect, or another issue. Good luck to you in finding something you can take that helps!

I have CLL and my blood pressure increased and I developed a strange cough. Both of these health concerns were listed as possible "ill affects." I had never had an allergy in the past. I think our immune system is changing because of the strange affects caused by leukemia? We should be aware when something is not normal and if the strange affect is being influenced by our cancer? The I stopped my medication my health problems stopped. I am taking my medication at 50% dose and my blood test indicates 100% normal and WBC count is at 7,300. I am waiting for the next strange affect to occur? So far no cold or flu in the past 2 years because of my general health benefits from eating healthy and exercising.
