How long before you notice side effects from imatinib?
Side effects from imatinib can vary from person to person. Some people may notice side effects within the first few days or weeks of starting treatment, while others may experience them later or have milder symptoms that develop gradually.
Common side effects you might experience include:
* Nausea and vomiting
* Fatigue or extreme tiredness
* Diarrhea
* Muscle pain
* Headache
* Swelling or fluid buildup
* Skin rashes
The good news is that most side effects tend to become less noticeable or fade away over time as your body adjusts to the medication.
Everyone reacts differently to imatinib—you may have fewer or milder side effects than others, or you might experience more severe ones. If side effects become difficult to manage, talk with your doctor. They can prescribe other medications or recommend strategies to help you feel better.
Remember, it's important to keep taking your medication as prescribed, even if you experience side effects. Skipping doses can negatively affect how well the treatment works and your overall outlook with CML.

My blood test is 100% normal for everything. My WBC count is 7,300. Try to eat healthy and exercise which benefits our health.
