Diagnosed with CLL 39 years ago
No treatment yet.
Thank you!
During my visits with my doctor I seem to do 70% of the talking sharing my knowledge of what I have learned about my health or medication. My doctor is still very quiet and does not share information? I had had other people fill in but they also seem to be very quiet and provide anything useful? I get more information from group members then from my medical people? I am glad my University degree provided me with a good background with doing research and understanding the chemical and biological reactions of medications.
Hi all
Just wanted to let you know my hemonc doctor confirmed there is no such illness as Pollice CLL.
When I showed him the message in "my chart" which was sent to me by my pcp (now thinking I had something else to possibly worry about) he kind of had a little grin on his face and shook his head. Then he told me there is no such thing. Was i relieved!
I think there are medical people who do fail to explain important information which my doctor was this type of person during our 5 minute meeting to discuss my blood test result and not go into detail about anything.
Thank you Soultime 12. Seeing oncologist this Monday. Will keep you all posted!
CORRECTION: Have CLL since 39 yo. Almost 70 now. Im greatful!!❤️
