We have to do activities that benefit our physical and mental health. I eat healthy and exercise for my physical health benefits. I know my medication is controlling those bad cells and all my blood tests have been normal. I only realized last December that I was 100% normal than I realized I should be happy and not worrying about my CLL. I do focus on my wife's health which is not bad but it helps me when I am helping others? This week my wife and I got our flu and tetanus shots which means we are thinking about this winters flus which last year my wife was sick 3 times and I was sick no times. I hope you can find answers to why you have stress so that you can start enjoying your time when you are healthy?

Yes, it absolutely contributes & adds more to your CLL fatigue. Stress plays havoc on even healthy people. Do your best to eliminate as much stress as you can from your daily life. Easier said than done but some things we view/perceive as stress can be reduced or eliminated altogether..put you & your health first ok..

Yes, stress can absolutely make fatigue worse with CLL. Anxiety, stress, and emotional strain related to a cancer diagnosis can lower your energy levels and compound the fatigue that CLL already causes on its own. Here are some ways to help manage stress-related fatigue:

- Reach out for support from friends, family, or a faith community
- Join an in-person support group to connect with others who understand what you're going through
- Talk to your doctor about mental health therapy or whether medication might help
- Consider lifestyle adjustments — if work or other obligations feel overwhelming, it may be worth re-evaluating what's manageable

A MyLeukemiaTeam member shared that they never knew whether their stressful 50-hour work week or their CLL was causing their fatigue — and that they never felt truly rested. It's a reminder that stress and CLL fatigue can feed into each other, making it important to address both.

Don't hesitate to bring this up with your care team — they can help figure out the best approach for you.
