Stage 2 CLL with enlarged lymph nodes, liver, and spleen. When I went into the hospital last month (heart attack) they said my WBC was over 100k. After a week it went down to around 74k. A month and a half later it was 49k.

I just learned that an MRI taken the same month I was told I had CLL indicated my spleen was enlarged (stage #3 CLL) but my WBC count was 19000? I never had any lumps or bumps but after 10 months my WBC count was 76000 and I requested medication. I was given a money grant to pay the insurance copayment $3400 so my cost was $0 every month for my pills. I hope you are eating healthy and exercising which does benefit your health to fight CLL.

Your WBC count..as a rule..will, in fact fluctuate Daniel depending on what’s going on with your entire immune system. Your immune system has been extremely compromised between your heart attack & CLL. Don’t hesitate to ask lots of questions of your medical team ok. It’s all overwhelming & the more we ask & learn I think the better..
