Why Do I Feel Terrible?

Why Do I Feel Terrible?

I have just been diagnosed with CLL. I’m in early stage (0 stage according to my dr) and don’t have swollen glands (even tho they all ache) or spleen according to my scan and don’t need any treatment yet which is wonderful but yet my fatigue and pain are debilitating. My WBC is only 18,000. My diagnosis gave me reason as to why I was feeling all of that
My dr says to look for other reasons for my fatigue and symptoms. I have never experienced such fatigue in my entire life. No amount of… read more

Dr. Appointment Left Me With So Many Questions.

Dr. Appointment Left Me With So Many Questions.

I just had my first appointment after 6 weeks being on the chemo pill. The Dr. said my red blood cells are good but my white blood cells are still to high. She is keeping me on the treatment I am on because its only been 6 weeks. She did scare me by saying that if it does not improve she may have to put me on a stronger medication that has more side effects. I feel discouraged, is there something I can do along with the medication to help? I left not sure if I got good news or bad news… read more

Melissa I’m also on Calquence and I’ve asked this very question of my Doctor and I don’t think there is much you can do other than follow the directions in taking the pill!

Has Anyone Experienced Extreme Fatigue Before Getting Treatment For CLL?

Has Anyone Experienced Extreme Fatigue Before Getting Treatment For CLL?

I am in watch and wait mode for CLL after being diagnosed a couple of years ago. Pain and fatigue are what originally sent me to the doctor before diagnosis. Has anyone else experienced worsening pain and extreme fatigue before treatment?

I did. I still have severe fatigue after my diagnosis.

ALL And Relapse/secondary Cancer

ALL And Relapse/secondary Cancer

Does anyone have B Cell PH- ALL with an allogenic BMT as treatment? Did you relapse or acquire a secondary cancer? My mind is sometimes consumed by the thought of getting cancer again whether it be the same or a different one altogether. I guess I'm wondering about the odds of it happening.
