When I asked my oncologist how aml changed my life expectancy, she said she didn't want me to have negative thoughts so she didn't want to answer the question. So, I did some research and learned the average is 5 years. Talk to me about this! Please
Can I ask what your blood count is? My white cells have gone up since March but Dr says not to worry....guess it's gradual and not aggressive. There's so much to learn and seems like everybody is different 🥴
I was diagnosed 13 years ago with CLL and still have no symptoms and no treatments—Hugs 🧡🧡🧡
I don’t think Doctors can say how long you have, you have no expiration date written on you. Everyone is different so in the meantime just live your life and enjoy everything. A positive attitude is so important to wellness! Prayers 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hi Sheila! In March it was about 110,000. Last month it was 114,000. Going this Friday for more bloodwork. Take care💝
I'm new to this also. I have CLL. This site has alot of kind, knowledgeable people sharing their experiences and I find it comforting. I don't do research online anymore as it just scared and confused me. Take care and have a nice day💝
