Does Anyone Know If It’s Common For BCR-ABL Levels To Fluctuate?

A MyLeukemiaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Northern California

My BCR -ABL was at 0 last month and now it was risen to 0.03. I thought once it was at zero it would stay there unless things got worse again. Anyone know? I’m a little freaked out.

My numbers have fluctuated throughout my recovery. I wouldn't stress out until you talk to your doctor. You will have ups and downs, but you have to look at the long term pattern in your results, rather than one individual test result. Good luck.

I'm not sure what it means but I have learned to either call the MD's nurse or wait until my appointment. I have freaked out a lot with unexplained results showing up on MYCHART. Try not to stress, but if you will, call your care provider. You need as little stress in your life as possible. 🥴
