Wondering about disability benefits

Hey peeps,Does anybody collect disability benefits??
Was wondering how long it takes and what makes a person qualify for it?

I was diagnosed 5 years ago with CLL and the VA determined that it was a direct result of agent orange from my time in Viet Nam. The Va gave me 100% disability and I collect $360 a month.

I qualified for the short term disability policy though my work but as far as SSA I'm not sure.

You have to apply through the SSA and then go for a medical evaluation with a doctor they choose. Good luck.
