A MyLeukemiaTeam Member said:

I take Venclexta once a month for five days and I do have side affects on day 4 and 5 and takes about 3 days after to get back to normal.
My side affects are mainly depression and a weird uncomfortable feeling in my head, hard to explain. I have two more chemo session and I’m done.
I will be getting a stem cell transplant sometime in September, October time frame for AML.

I'm receiving treatment from Scripps Cancer Center in Hillcrest , San Diego .
For the past 2 months I have been undergoing Chemotherapy treatments using Dacogen for AML .
I'm also taking 400 mg of Venclexta every day . I haven't experienced any side effects and my blood counts are beginning to improve . Of course some of this could be due to 2 blood transfusions .
Again , no side effects ( noticable side effects ) .
Hope this helps .
