I don't think that's as uncommon as we think Marie. We try our best to appear "normal" so others don't worry. But it can make things difficult. I go to the Y and exercise with a group of fellow survivors. The program is called Stay Strong. Check for groups in your area. It's really helpful.

Thank for the Program. I got to my recreation center and participate in activities. I think people who is close to their family have no clue to people who are not close to their family and are going through something. No one should judge another person.

I agree with Denis. I have also been in the Y program. It is really helpful, and the exercises do help you stay strong. During covid I was fortunate enough to do it on zoom. One of my sisters is an instructor in the program and did it on zoom for me.

First of all I want to thank the almighty God who I pray to everyday. My family especially my wife who has been with me every step of the way. My oldest daughter who is an R N and worked with cancer patients for 15 years. She stayed with me at Oschner Hospital in New Orleans when I got diagnosed. My doctors , NP and nurses at Cancer Clinic at Oschner Hospital in Lafayette, La. A big thank you to my friends and my prayer groups who is very important to me. Thank you God is good.
