Hello Judy, I am not only sorry for you but also for your husband, sometimes life is not fair to some of usand I can never understand why this has to happen.
My red and white blood cells are below what they should be as well as my platelets slowing coming down, but please be rest assured that every post on here is definitely worth posting.

Geoff, I have the same thing, My platelets finally after six years got into the normal range but I still have anemia with the way my red and white blood cells are always below normal and I do not think that can be ignored. My 30 pound weight loss came because of stressful events like my husband being diagnosed with Parkinsonism from Agent Orange and then I finally retired from a job I loved on February 8th as well so two big life changes. This is probably not relevant to anything right now.

They may say that your blood results are OK and this could mean that your hemoglobin is near the range it should be so you don't need a blood transfusion, but this doesn't mean that your WBC, RBC and/or Platelets are satifactory.
With me and the treatment I'm having my hemoglobin is in the range, now, but my WBC,RBC and platelets are below what they should be, but haematologist says he is happy with my blood test.
