Maybe ours body's don't start going bad until the blood dose !! But I think I have had this CLL for a long time and didn't know. Lots of ???

As time progresses CLL may or may not progress Ihave a friend who has CLL for20 years and she manages it Her’s is not bad at all The speed of
progression can have a lot to do with your Karyotype and numbers
Some people have missing and beat up Chromosomes 17 p and 11q and others that can be tough That’s why we all need to know what we have so we don’t do unnecessary worrying We are in the targeted therapy etc. era end there are huge successes with this disease

I don't think it progresses any faster with old age. This would be a good question to ask your oncologist. 😊

I am 76 , stage 0 CLL.After doing a lot of tests when I was first diagnosed , my oncologist told me I could live for decades. It appears the test results after studying the cancer cells on all levels determines your prognosis more so than your age.
