My specialist told me that CLL is not heritable but in some families its diagnosed more. The people with CLL I have met in the Netherlands till so far, didnt have a parent with CLL.

I have been to several oncologists in my 7 years of diagnosis, and all have said it is not inherited - however the the reason your body now has CLL (let's say mutating genes) may be genetic (but others may not develop CLL). NO ONE in my family has ever been diagnosed with ANY type of cancer.

My brother has CLL and so do I .I was diagnosed early (50’s) my brother in his (60’s). We think it is environmental, no scientific evidence but we think it was something we were exposed to.
No one in my family with CLL.
