I am on Brukinza but I also take IVI infusion, too. it helps with my lung infection I frequently had. I can still get sick, but not enough to put me in hospital as It helps my weakened immune system that is problematic with CLL/cancer.
As stated by someone, the infusions take 3-4 hrs. to infuse. and I receive them every month. My Igg gets low, so I am on a 4-week cycle and have been for a few years. I can get chills really bad and shaking, nausea, High temp, Thats why the very slow drip. Again, I Alway point out; report any of these changes to d nurse/Onc. and they can adjust the drip and not everyone reacts the same. I still get wiped out the following day. Giving feedback is based on ones own experience.
