Las Vegas, NV

Greetings,
I was diagnosed with CLL this year. Does anyone have any experience with intermittent fasting as a way to keep CLL under control? Perhaps you know of a research study.
Thanks,
Barbara

To Robert73,
If this topic is new to you, I understand it can sound sketchy. But there have been studies that seemed to show some other types of cancer can respond. Also persons doing chemotherapy sometimes suffer fewer side effects. Keep in mind this is currently under study and not definitive by any means.

Given how different CLL is from solid tumors I would be leery of generalizing from them but that said, assuming weight loss and adequate nutrition are not issues it sounds like a safe experiment to me but do keep your hem/onc informed.

Go on Youtube and check out Dr Bergs videos. He talks about all this. He has about 7,000 short videos. Talks about Cancer, Diabetes, you name it.
