Had one round of chemo for AML but on hold because WBC’s and platelets too low. Is this common?

Yes. I’ve had treatment rounds postponed because of low blood counts too.

I have AML too and am in the same boat as you. Last therapy was over 3 weeks ago but my numbers are too low to start the next round. It's kind of ironic when you realize the numbers have to come up so you can knock them down again.
I am experiencing fatigue and shortness of breath but things could be worse.
