Day 2 of Brukinsa and so far no bad side effects. Just all the symptoms of progression I had already. Hoping and praying it’ll continue. Praying it stays the same for you.

Good morning all. I have been taking Calquence (acalabrutinib) 100mg twice a day.
for a year now. It is a second generation targeted oral chemotherapy. After 8 months my WBC and platelets are normal. Minimal side effects. Back on a 3 month check with my hematologist and it is this Thursday.

I was diagnosed in December 2023 and this month started Brukinsa. I take together with Famciclovir to avoid viral infections. For now I’m tolerating Brukinsa very well. No nausea, etc. The drug is the best on the market right now and promises less toxicity and adverse reactions compering to Imbruvica . I hope it will stay this way for long time for me!

I’ve been taking Brukinsa for 9 months. 160mg twice a day. The side effects have been minimal. My white blood cell count is now in the normal range after my labs in January. I’ve noticed that I have more energy too. Hope this helps.
