Yes, he didn't recommend any supplements just surgery. Just as I expected...

I have never had shoulder issues but I have bad knees and when I am in pain I use Voltaren, it is a topical ointment that seems to help with the pain. That might help and SeanM. says cannabis edibles help. It is up to you what you want to try. Did you ask your doctor?
