I think basically any treatment or medication only "controls" those bad cells until they mutate. Once the cells mutate control is lost and the whole process has to be repeated to control the mutated cells. The word remission is outdated and confusing because it does not leave room to explain why the bad cells are back for more trouble? The use of the word control means the bad cells have been stopped or delayed as things look good and healthy. The good news is that there is other means to control those bad cells that uses a different ways to attack those bad cells and it will work until the bad cells mutate and control is lost.
