Has anyone else with CLL experienced styes on their eyes?

While styes aren't specifically mentioned as a common CLL skin symptom, people with CLL do have weakened immune systems that make them more susceptible to various types of infections, including bacterial, viral, and fungal ones. Styes are typically caused by bacterial infections of the oil glands in the eyelid.

Having styes appear on both eyes could be related to your CLL affecting your immune system's ability to fight off infections. The fact that you developed a second stye shortly after the first one suggests your body may be having difficulty clearing the infection.

Here are some key points to consider:

* People with CLL are more prone to infections due to compromised immunity
* Infections can occur more frequently, especially in various parts of the body
* Your immune system may be less effective at preventing bacteria from causing problems like styes

It's important to contact your healthcare team about these styes, especially since they've appeared on both eyes within a few days. They can determine if this is related to your CLL and whether you need treatment to help clear the infection.

Yes, I got one a couple of months ago… it hurt a bit for the first few days, then no more. However, it still has not gone away, and under the eyelid where it is, is an angry deep red color. It has been a couple of months now, and I’m concerned.

This summer I noticed my upper eye lids were damp or wet below my eye brows? I had dry upper eye lids in the past but this summer I would find both upper eye lid areas damp? No ill affects in the skin but very strange?
