Thanks for asking this question. I know those bad cells are all over the body. Those bad cells do affect the central nervous system so you have a valid question. I have had the itching problem when I am warm which is the skin nerves saying something is wrong? I discovered when I am cool and not hot I have no problem. In the summer I use a fan and my itching stops. I hope you can control your health issue and share your discovery with us?

Can CLL itself cause peripheral neuropathy?
CLL doesn't typically cause peripheral neuropathy directly. However, neuropathy is a common side effect of certain leukemia treatments, particularly chemotherapy.
Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) affects about 10 to 20 percent of people with cancer. It can cause:
* Numbness and tingling in hands, feet, and legs
* Weakness or pain
* Difficulty with daily tasks like walking, driving, or getting dressed
* Sensation of "walking on rocks" or having "rubber bands tied around your feet"
Certain chemotherapy drugs used to treat leukemia can damage the nerves that control sensation and mobility. A MyLeukemiaTeam member shared they "developed chemical-induced neuropathy" that is "painful and hurts all the time."
If you're experiencing numbness, tingling, or weakness, talk with your healthcare team. They can help identify the cause and discuss treatment options to manage these symptoms.
