Yes call your doctor I had read they discovered excess WBC in the sinus but this is where bad things enter the body? The lungs also can collect outside bad thinks so those WBC could be active. Outside total immune system is not so good so we require attention. Get help before it is too late.

Should you call your doctor about cold symptoms when you have CML?

Yes, it's a good idea to reach out to your healthcare team. While your symptoms sound like a common cold, people with CML can have lowered levels of healthy white blood cells, which makes fighting infections harder.

Here's why it matters:

* CML can cause neutropenia (low neutrophils) or leukopenia (low normal white blood cells), both of which increase infection risk
* Even though abnormal white blood cells may be high in CML, they don't fight infections effectively
* Fatigue is common with CML, but it can also signal your body is fighting an infection

Your doctor may want to check your blood counts or assess whether you need any treatment. It's always better to check in when you have infection symptoms, especially if they worsen or you develop a fever.

Take care of yourself by resting, staying hydrated, and keeping an eye on your symptoms. If you notice worsening shortness of breath, high fever, or severe fatigue, contact your doctor right away.
