My problem is my sinus are draining in the morning then drain in the evening. I never had sinus problems? Last year I read an article that said excess WBC were found in the sinus tissue? The first area of the body dy to fight outside sickness is at the nose or sinus.

Hi Tonya. I have not had that issue. How has your ENT been treating it? Maybe consider a second opinion? Also, have you tried any natural remedies? They may or may not help, but thought I'd mention it.

Are you experiencing sinus drainage issues that cause facial and eye pain with CLL/SLL?
While sinus problems aren't typically listed as a direct symptom of CLL/SLL, people with this condition are more vulnerable to infections because CLL affects the immune system. The disease can prevent your body from making enough antibodies to fight off infections effectively, which means sinus infections and related complications may occur more frequently or be harder to resolve.
Since you're already seeing an ENT without relief, it's important to make sure your cancer care team is aware of these ongoing symptoms. They may need to:
* Evaluate if your immune system needs additional support
* Check if any CLL treatments might be contributing to the problem
* Rule out whether chronic sinus issues could be infection-related due to immune suppression
* Consider if you need preventive measures or different approaches to manage infections
Persistent facial and eye pain shouldn't be ignored, especially when standard ENT treatments aren't helping. Your oncologist and ENT may need to work together to find the right solution, as managing infections in CLL requires special consideration due to the compromised immune function.
