My dads spleen has alot of fluid that needs to be drained and waiting on liver results as well 🙏

The spleen is a vital component of the lymphatic and immune systems located in the upper-left abdomen. Its primary functions include filtering blood, destroying old or damaged red blood cells, storing blood components (like platelets), producing white blood cells to combat infections, and recycling iron. This organ does a big job and sometimes the organ gets bigger to accomplish this task. My spleen is enlarged but I do not notice this issue because I think it is doing the job it is supposed to do and filtering out excess stuff.
