Hi Kendall. My counts have fluctuated for the past 10 yrs. I also have CLL & thankfully no need for treatments to date. All of our systems are vastly different as well. Article above is very informative too.

Fluctuating white blood cell counts are common with CLL, and what you're experiencing isn't necessarily a cause for alarm. In CLL, doctors closely monitor blood counts because these numbers help guide treatment decisions and track how the disease is responding.
Your WBC count dropping significantly and then rising again could be related to several factors:
* Your CLL itself naturally progressing or changing
* Effects from any treatments you may be receiving
* Your body's response to treatment wearing off
* Normal variations that can occur with CLL
Since you don't have an infection, that's one less concern. However, the rise from 10k to 17k is something your healthcare team should evaluate in the context of your overall health and treatment plan.
It's important to discuss these changes with your doctor. They can review your complete blood count results, consider your treatment history, and determine if any adjustments are needed. They'll look at the bigger picture of your CLL management rather than just one number in isolation.

This change could be loss of control with bad cells increasing which is not anything normal. I take medication and my blood test is 100% normal & WBC is 7500.
