My question is who else has had hemolytic anemia
I’m so sorry, however some form of anemia or several are one of the lovely out croppings of our diseases(s). Your hg and bilirubin counts now become front and center and as was stated that does go along with CLL as a partner.
I’m going to caution and advise you do NOT rush out and purchase supplements thinking they will help MANY supplements help bmc to spread or provide a platform for it to grow. Learn to read ingredients of supplements, sleep aids, gummies, energy drinks etc maniacally. Even something as benign as yogurt “with vitamins” can be dangerous to us and our hematologists aren’t savvy to the multitude of issues that many downstream supplements can cause. The other side of the coin is danger to the liver from supplements. So, that’s my advice today, I’m passionate about the supplement issue having studied it a lot over these last years with liver disease and now the leukemias and being very wary because our tendency nowadays is to pop vitamins. Sending you hugs and support. Michele
Rituximab and steroids. 1 infusion weekly for 8 weeks. The infusions take 3 to 4 hours. No side effects

I'm so sorry you are going through this. What treatment did the doctor decide for you?
I do agree with Michelle on the over the counter supplements...some definitely do more harm than good.
I know you must have been absolutely exhausted, I hope you are feeling better now. Take care and keep us posted.
I couldn’t even walk out of the house I had to crawl out of the house into the car thank God my wife was there. I was later diagnosed with hemolytic anemia. In the ER. My hemoglobin was down to 3.6 and my bilirubin was high. I don’t know how high the BiliRubin was, but it was high. I was in the hospital for five days. the ER doctor that first saw me slapped a defibrillator on me just in case. I was in the hospital for five days and later on he came up to the room and said john, you’re a lucky man3.6 is not compatible with Life.
