Hormones After Allogenic Transplant

Hello all! I’m new here, I’m 24 years old and 4 years ago I had my bone marrow transplant. It went good but since then I had no menstrual cycle except last 2 years of fake period due to birth control pills. I stopped them recently because of side effects but I’m now with no period again… I’m wondering will I ever have a normal cycle again or should I always take a hormone pill… menopause symptoms are the worst! Is there a woman out there who has the same problems as me?? I just don’t know who… read more

Hello! Thank you for answering! I search many gynaecologists and they said to follow hormone treatment cause my area down there won’t work without help.. and maybe do hormones for many years… I wish it was easier but as I get to see the sky every morning I’m grateful. I will work this out

So sorry, I haven’t experienced that as I had already gone through menopause after transplant, hope you find answers….I would ask my bone marrow docs
