Hard to say if it is the low immune system, maybe the IVIG, maybe the tooth I had extracted. Tired of being tired!
I friend in NC is at day 90 post transplant for AML, and they started her back at the gym as soon as her numbers reached a certain level. I am trying to following her protocol even though I have not had transplant. I think I will follow your advice.
I finally asked for PT—Weight resistance & building my back stronger.
I’m 16 months post allogenic transplant and have been dealing with persistent fatigue for maybe 1-2 months. More so than usual. It is debilitating and depressing, not to have the energy that you used to.
I take my vitamins and supplements including vitamin B and B complex. I had not be a coffee drinker in the past but today I did a glass of cold coffee in the summer to get me going. I manage to do my morning tasks and relax in the afternoon. We should pace ourselves and try to build up our ability to do more as time passes. I hope others can develop their personal method of enhancing their energy and do what they can achieve. I enjoy my relaxing in the afternoon and think about tomorrow as another challenge which may be short depending on my energy level and the task I choose?
Thanks Pam, you summed it up nicely. How do we get our strength back.
