Lymphatic Drainage Massage

A MyLeukemiaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Joliet, IL

Is anyone familiar with lymphatic drainage massage? I've been on Imbruvica for CLL for about a half year and started lymph massage recently. Any thoughts, impressions or conclusions?

Also, HIGHLY recommend to do ELT. Electro-Lymphatic Therapy
E.L.T is a gentle technique using vibrational, light and electrical waves to break apart lymph congestion and stimulate the proper flow and drainage of the lymphatic system. E.L.T. can achieve in one session what would take 8-10 manual sessions.
I also do dry brushing to help my lymphatic system. Infrared saunas are also extremely beneficial to get rid of the toxins that build up in your lymphatic system and the rest of your system.

Thank you Carol! I'm amazed at how lymphatic drainage massage has had such a positive affect on my treatment. I'm wondering why so many doctors aren't aware of this. I asked a top leukemia doc about it last month and she looked clueless.

Don't know the good or bad but I usually put heat pads and the swelling goes down.
