Has Anyone Had Any Experience With Being Positive For Covid
Hi everyone, I am an 82 year old male with Acute Myeloid Leukemia diagnosed 8/2020. I’m doing ok with the AML, but I just tested positive for Covid. My son and daughter in law have it also. I started Gazyva 6/6 had treatments 6/6 & 6/7 started with congestion and cough 6/9 and tested positive 6/10. I have all vaccine and boosters under pfizer. I got the monoclonal 6/13 and felt better no symptoms as of 6/14. Did a home test that came up negative 6/15 however drs office did a pcr test and that was positive. I have had 2 more since that are still positive. I feel fine, but still showing positive. Hugs and prayers to you that you get better every day
Had it 5 weeks ago!!
I'm pretty sure without my 4 shots I'd had a rough time with Covid. I only had a cough I am very grateful.
I also have AML and recently tested positive for Covid even after I’d been triple vaccinated. It was a very mild case fortunately. Sore throat, headache, and, as always, fatigue. All in all I was very lucky. I got through it with no real ramifications
I hope you’re feeling better now. I’ve been battling something not sure if a cold, bronchitis, sinus or what but I am going to test myself right now.
