I was diagnosed with CLL/SLL in Nov 2021,
in June of 2022 I was told I need a triple bypass (no history of heart issue) followed by 2 thoracentisis to remove fluid on lung then in August was diagnosed with sleep apnea with the suggestion that all these other problems related to my oxygen desaturation over the years- has anyone else experienced this diagnosis- it is all quite frustrating! CLL is Watch and Wait almost with the suggestion it is the least of my issues-

Hi all,
I was diagnosed with CLL but still on "watch and wait" 2 years. I do have Afib and was shocked when diagnosed with sleep apnea. I do use a c-pap and it can be a PIA, but worth it as my heart is slowly getting stronger. I also deal with constipation and diarrhea. I don't believe they are related to the CLL. I do believe however, that the CLL is causing fatigue and loss of appetite and I'm sleeping 11-12 hours, but no naps. I'll be 77 next month.

I have sleep apnea but had it long before being diagnosed with CLL. I do not have an answer for you, but I will keep you in prayer. Surgery is no joke, however I do believe all will be well, I hope and pray you are better after surgery and I do hope you get a Cpap machine, though now they have some sort of surgical device they can implant which does the same thing as a cpap machine. I don't know enough about it to have it done and I don't need another thing inside my body, at least for now.
Best of luck with your surgery! Let us know how it goes.

I have trouble with sleeping but don't talk much about it because I drive for a living and don't want to be forced to wear any mask etc. I am finding the department of transportation and my supervisor do not understand leukemia and get freaked out easily about my ability to drive. Worry about my medications etc. I will discuss this with my doctor at next visit.
