The electric shocks and feeling as if walking on rocks is exactly what I had and it was diagnosed as Renaud's syndrome narrowing of ones veins which reduced my blood flow to my hands and feet. to treat this I was put on Nifedipine which seems to be helping. Your description of electric shocks is exactly as I thought, indeed the first time I had this electric shock feeling was when I switched on my kitchen light and I thought I had got a shock from the switch??? I asked my daughter to switch on the light to see if she got a shock and she didn't, I tried it again and got a shock. When speaking to my Dr about this she arranged some tests for me and it was found that I was suffering from Renaud's Syndrome. Since I have been on Nifedipine the shocks have all but gone but in bed at night I suffer tingling in my hands and numbness in my fingers but no big deal as when I hang my hands out of the bed the numbness and tingling disappears. I’m sorry you’re going through all this. Sounds like you have plenty going on besides leukemia. A good Dr will say I don’t know rather than give an answer that may be just their opinion. My son has had symptoms that could be caused by his leukemia, Crohn’s disease, celiac disease, or side effects of various drugs. His Drs will say when they don’t know. There are several websites I trust including Mayo and Cleveland Clinics, this site and LLS.com. I see nothing wrong with researching your condition so you can be more informed and ask intelligent questions. Some Drs might just be trying to protect their patients from scary stuff they might find, but it’s ultimately up to you.

Well done, Its a good idea to sell off your assets ready for the possible inevitable.

Here in the UK when one dies it can cause a whole raft of problems for ones family with the TAX man and with Probate and much more. pre-Emptied things 2 years ago by giving my daughter £142,000 as well as making her joint account holder of my various bank accounts and investments as well as transferring my house to her which means as long as I live for 7 years from the date my house she was transferred to her she won't have to pay inheritance tax on the house which is 40% of its value and would mean she would have a tax bill of £200,000 had I not transferred the house to her 2 years ago, but worse than that "Probate " here can take upwards of a year or longer for monies to be tansferred to those in my "Will" or assets released, not to mention the charges lawyers make for handling estate at £250.. per letter.. The reason for doing this is to reduce the stress that my family will suffer when I finally go.

I have even paid up front for a [Pre-Planned " funeral, but my daughter said said will not allow an Army bugler to sound the "last post" for me as we did at here Mums funeral.

First and foremost...for anyone reading this, please do not feel that I am against doctors, etc. etc. I sooo am not. They are life savers...they're more good ones out there than bad and I'm beyond grateful for all true and good Doctors. We all are here on this earth today because of all the good they do. But, there are many bad apples out there and I unfortunately have dealt with some of them...Just my thought...numerous reasons why they say info on line is not credible.. Through my experience, they do not like to be challenged with questions, essentially they are intimidated by a patient that walks in their office with valid medical research that they have done regarding whatever problem they are having. They also think that because they have a title/degree that they know more (ego) about our condition (s). than we do. Which is 100% wrong, but that's reality. Every one of our bodies/systems is totally different than the next person. Med school does not teach them that. In fact, now, ones who are attending med school (most of the schools, not all) learn from a software program where they simply ask the patient what symptoms they are having, input that info into the program and voila it gives the "diagnosis" to them. I know this first hand as my ex's step daughter went to med school. When I was diagnosed 7 yrs ago, she came to visit (she and my ex did not believe my diagnosis of CLL) and I was not only taken aback by her using a software program, but more shocked when, after me explaining all of my symptoms, showing her the blood work results from my oncologist, the "program" diagnosed me as having Hepatitis??? Pretty scary eh? They also profit from us..same with big pharma..that's reality. As far as your dehydration goes...are you doing anything at all to help with that? Consider getting some Organic Pedialyte or even regular pedialyte..organic has less crap in it and less sugar. Cutting out soda's and caffeine will also help as they rob your system and dehydrate you even more. Would also consider finding a doctor that works with you vs. against you.
