Thank you so much for this! I’m beyond emotional! I moved to FL to be here for the last few yrs of my mom’s journey! The survivors suffer so badly! I stayed w/her during hospital stays & Hospice at home/not recommended… In Hospital Hospice had wonderful Docs! Plenty of family support from other families on the ward… Not my own! I helped other families, they helped me! Afterwards, I was broken!!!
I would love to be SUPPORT FOR YOU! I get very little, stuck in FL w/Absent Family & friends who have no time or patience! I suffered a HA at 57, nearly killed by ER! Paramedics during COVID were Awesome! 9 months later, cancer was destroying bone…another mild Cardiac episode & broke 6 bones in my foot… ER sent me to a disastrous PODIATRIST… The CLL & pain/neuralgia/fatigue are unbearable… Going for Ultrasound of my spleen on Friday… Social Worker tells me they only help people having a hard time w/DX!??? This was on Dec 19, 2022… I am RAW! My brother is married to a Wealthy Witch who only associates w/her family… My situation is Brutal! Reason, I was Horrified that I caused you PAIN! I greatly appreciate your response! It means the World! I love the ANIMATED Characters. Please keep me updated… Your son may still be in the shock stage.. If I can help him or you, don’t hesitate🤗

No worries! We cannot trace a definite cause and he does not like to talk about it which is another problem. There is a good chance it is work related in one form or another. I was told by his coworkers in the dept. They were made to have a chemical overall just recently driven by our state, Osha and the DEEP. Better late than never.

I am just learning about all the different kinds of Leukemia. I am very sorry to hear about your mom.

I am seeing that today there are so many promising treatments that are slamming this disease. I am thankful for the knowledge shared here and to have folks to talk with. There is such a positive future for all diagnosed.

We obviously were BOTH EMOTIONAL ON THIS ISSUE! I misread that someone was grieving a son! It’s never a parent’s FAULT! This was a huge misunderstanding as I thought a Third party was blaming YOU!
I truly do understand, as my bio reads, My CLL was an Inherited Cancer! My mother who passed of same felt SICK & HORRIFIED W/SERIOUS GUILT! I could have passed on the genes as well… It was Almost a blessing, I couldn’t have a successful pregnancy!
I’m TRULY SORRY FOR MY MISUNDERSTANDING! Of course, I wish ur son all the blessings in the world! A big hug to you! Not making excuses… I truly thought another party was blaming YOU & YOU were blaming yourself! I’m SOO VERY SORRY FOR MISCOMMUNICATION! Thank you for bringing to my attention & hopefully clearing up… I’ve been unable to eat & past the point of Exhaustion… reading incorrectly! Again, Apologize profusely!!! I feel like I am the reason my son got leukemia. When he was in high school, he had to do Community Service. I brought him to our fire house to the Ranger Program. He has stuck with it and is Captain (MY SON) and in charge of training.
I just found out about Fire Fighter Cancer Remembrance Day. Ect...

Back then there was of lack of knowledge for the dangers of chemicals being used, now, huge changes are being made.

Note: it was his Fire Fighter physical that discovered the Leukemia.

Also. what part of my comment did you find stupid or I'm sorry - ignorant? My question and comments reenforce the sites articles on work force risk for Cancer and spread awareness for the safety in the Fire Fighting community. I would not call that ignorance.

This is nothing to fight about and not a place for insults. I am here to learn, spread awareness of interesting articles, share my feelings and read some light at the end of the tunnel stories.
