Husband is on his second month of IV Vidaza 7 days and 28 days of Venetoclax. Not sure how long they expect to keep him on this regimen. He too has AML progression from MDS.
Constipation and Slight nausea. So far, so good.
When my MDS progressed to AML (blasts > 20%) I began 7 days of 2 injections of Vidaza and 14 days oral Venclexta. I had 6 cycles in about 14 months before reduced response on myeloblasts. Last two cycles my bloodcounts were increasingly reduced. Very manageable nausea about 2 to 3 hours following Vidaza injections, some constipation from Venclexta. Now on Xospata.
