If I were an oncologist I would be able to enlighten you, but I wouldn’t even hazard a guess. My advice to you would be to call his/her office and tell them you have a concern about one of your results and ask them to have the oncologist call you. Stress can exacerbate CLL, so it’s perfectly acceptable to tell them you feel somewhat in the dark and need someone to clarify the meaning of this result for you. Good luck! Will be thinking of and praying for you! 🙏❤️
I will ask my hematologist when I see her in Aug or Sept
Roberta2, I’m not in treatment either. Watch and wait. But I found an excellent oncologist who ran Flow cytometry and FISH studies and see him every 3 months for bloodwork and lymph node/spleen/liver exam. This way if/when I need treatment I’m all set with someone I trust who is guiding me along the way. Who is running your testing if not an oncologist?
Hematologist is probably well on top of things! They do the same therapies. My doctor is oncology/hematology. Hope all continues to progress slowly for all of us!
I am not in any treatment so I don't have an oncologist
