I’m sorry for your loss. My husband started. Chemo pill one day and chemo shot the next. Once a week for 14 weeks. That didn’t do anything. Then Dr put him on a pill for anemia. Did that for 2 weeks. Did nothing. So for now he is on nothing. We go

My husband was 71 when he was diagnosed. His treatment was 7 days of shots with 14 days of pills two weeks off and it started all over again. The doctors told us treatment would stop working after about 18 months the only cure was a stem cell transplant. My husband did well with the treatment never needed a transfusion. He opted to have the transplant after a year of treatment and made it through it good. He developed a virus at day 75 after transplant wiped out his while cells and he developed pneumonia and passed in 2 weeks, it was fast. Everyone is different so don't think there isn't hope. Hi E went to Jersey Shore Cancer Center. The dr was great. She is going to start him Thursday on meds(not sure which one). She thought his doctor was not aggressive enough. We will continue with her. Keep your he faith. Hope you are doing well

I going to Hackensack Meridan Heath to see if they have a trial. Or any other drugs. He needs blood and platelets transfusion 2x a. Week. Very scared
