Members connected warmly over the feeling of having a so-so day, offering heartfelt encouragement and spiritual support to lift each other's spirits on a rainy Sunday. Several members shared practical strategies that help them through difficult moments, including writing gratitude lists, taking walks in nature, reading scripture tailored to their emotions, watching uplifting movies, and leaning on the companionship of others who truly understand the journey with leukemia. A recurring theme was the deep appreciation for this online community as a place where humor, faith, and mutual understanding provide comfort that even close friends and family cannot fully offer when they haven't walked the same path.

I have kept you in my prayers, Martha. No prayer of ours comes back void - like you know from the Bible❤ Sometimes I see myself pray and still have to wait for an answer. And yet, I am confident in my heart that all my prayers are heard indeed.
You have such a sweet spirit. We have Jesus❤ He rejoices with us, but He also cries with us.

Hi Martha7,
God is always walking with us! Sorry to hear about your so-so day. 😇 Rainy days can make you feel a little down, but remember it passes and the sun will come out again🙏🏼. I am sure there are many things to be grateful for, even when you feel down, even if it is a difficult day. I have those days too and what helps me is to write a list of all I am grateful for. After I do that, I realize things could be worse, so it helps me to enjoy the moment. I have a list of things I do when I feel down and I believe God will take care of it.
Each persons list is different, so what helps me, may not help you. Taking a short walk or just getting out into nature also helps me. Exercise helps me too! Just know we all go through those so-so days and those so-so days pass😉! I hope your day gets better, and since you are a believer, may I suggest you read scripture specifically related to how you feel. For example, if you feel down, then read scripture about feeling down, or if you feel forgotten, then read scripture about being forgotten. You can google it! Many scriptures will pop up that may help you to remember how present God is to us. Anyway, that helps me, sometimes I don't feel good right away, but sometime later in the same day, I will feel free of whatever was bothering me. It is like God lifts it from me and I am good again! I also may watch uplifting movies, or look at a dog encyclopedia, or something like that. I love animals and nature!
May you feel the presence of the one who created you! Blessings on the rest of your Sunday!🙂

It is good news that your BP is going down! I hope you feel better. Please know whenever I comment, it is because I care, not to tell anyone what to do! If what I share helps you, great, if not ignore it. ☺️ Have a good rest of the day.
