Tell them what you are dealing with be honest, if they can’t deal with it, then don’t worry about it, they are not worth your precious time!!
Tell him the truth. If he can’t handle it good not to waste anymore time with him.
Just be honest. If he cares, he will stay and go through the journey with you. 🙏🏻
My father's sister had CLL and she just passed away at 93. There are many ways to handle this illness and it will be other illness which the immune system can not handle which will make you ill in the future. I just read an article which had a medical study with combining two different medications and the results were a person's life expectancy was NORMAL. Medication can control the illness so that a person has a normal life. I think in the next few years more medical changes will be happening to help improve the life of people with our illness. Below is a 90 minute video of this medical study which documented that a normal life time was possible by combining two medications that use BTK inhibitor and BCL. https://cllsociety.org/2025/10/protecting-again...
You can say you have an illness that will be with you for a long time. You can say there are many medications and treatments available to "control" the illness but there I no cure today. You can share how much you have learned and that you may have a healthy and happy future? Celebrating Long Life (CLL)
