Vision problems and neurological symptoms can occur as AML spreads throughout the body. Balance problems and seizures may also develop. These symptoms should be reported to your healthcare team immediately for proper evaluation and management. Some people may experience brain fog (difficulty with memory, focus, or clear thinking) during or after AML treatment. If you're experiencing new or worsening headaches, it's important to discuss these symptoms with your doctor. They can help determine if the headaches are related to your AML or treatments and recommend appropriate management strategies.

Yes I had migraines one month after bmt that put me in the hospital
For 45 days and many other symptoms precipitated I had them on and off the summer before my diagnoses. I had one really bad on Memorial Day which was about 7 months post bmt. I was given steroids which may have caused a thrush outbreak that has developed sores in my mouth. I’m taking a steroid mouthwash and NyStatin to clear it up. The migraines though were so bad and so scary .
