Absolute Lymphocytes vs. Lymphocytes are what oncologists look at. In addition, absolute lymphocytes may or may not fluctuate. I have had CLL for 9 plus years and my absolute lymphocytes tend to fluctuate. Thankfully, they have never increased a great deal and I have not needed any treatment.

Yes, lymphocyte levels are elevated in CLL. However, these are abnormal lymphocytes that don't function properly.
