How do people afford to have cancer treatments?

I was shocked with the cost of medication ($15500 per month.) My medical team requested a grant from Luekemia Society which provided a grant of $4000 (co-pay was $3400.) After a few months my medicare took over 100% of cost. I think the medication cost is why doctors favor watch & wait. I also think doing nothing or taking medication are both experimenting with your health since medication lists some strange things and some unwritten things.

Yes....been through that....thank God for the assistance in payment! Once on Medicare with the proper choices to cover catastrophic issues...you only pay deductible. Manageable. Is disgusting that they charge so much. Ought to be ashamed. GOD have mercy on their souls!
