True, it is best to ask. I did find this myself, We do not always know what anything contains and just like taking vitamins or herbals or other medicines they need to know it all.

My oncologist did not want me to get the COVID booster this year but I always get a flu shot. Ask your doctor.

In the past 2 years I have not had a cold or flu? This year I realized my immune system is impaired by CLL and may not protect me as it had in the past. I did get 3 vaccinations in one day. I got flu, shingles second, covid just for better protection. I am also very good with my vitamins and supplements which help my health. I hope you are eating healthy and exerting which does benefit your mental and physical health. Celebrating Long Life (CLL)

Eileen, I had my flu shot last week and Covid today as recommended by my oncologist because I am still out and about, flying on airlines, attending church, parties, eating in restaurants etc. I had a cold end of May into June. Took a full 30 days to recover as it went into bronchitis and I was on a week of antibiotics. So would like to lessen the chances of that happening again!

Hi Eileen. It truly is a matter of choice. Me only...Diagnosed with CLL going on 10 yrs! No treatments, etc. Still on watch and wait:):) See oncologist every 6 months for blood work up, etc. Even prior to my diagnosis, I never got, nor wanted a flu shot. When covid flu happened, I did not (and will not) get the shot. My belief/thought, etc. is to inject something into one's body with an unknown concoction of ingredients is not natural and can/will work against one's already compromised immune system. On top of that, I have literally lost 3 friends that had the covid vaccine and boosters...they were perfectly healthy as well. One of my sons friend lost his mother at 51 yrs of age 2 weeks after she had the shot...again...perfectly healthy. Other side of it...a couple of my brothers and a few of my other friends have had the shot, have still gotten the flu very badly and yet, once they recovered are fine. So much controversy with it all right. Anyways...bottom line...do what you feel is best ok. It is your body and your decision entirely:):)
