Are the bumps and sensations in your head related to being out of remission with stage 4 CLL?

You're not crazy. Stage 4 CLL can cause enlarged lymph nodes throughout the body, including in the head and neck area. When your CLL is active (out of remission), these lymph nodes can swell and create bumps that you can feel under the skin.

The sensation of "bones coming out" could be swollen lymph nodes pressing against your skull or other structures in your head. This is a physical symptom that some people experience when their disease is active.

Since you notice this pattern specifically when you're out of remission, it's important to mention these symptoms to your doctor. They can examine the bumps and determine if they're related to lymph node enlargement or another aspect of your CLL.

Keep track of when these bumps appear, how they feel, and any other symptoms that come with them. This information will help your healthcare team understand what's happening and provide appropriate care.

I had CLL for 10 months and I asked for medication. I was 71 but got around like I was 30. No colds or flus in the past few years. I am amazed you do not have medication to control your CLL? I have never had a chemo treatment since I think the drugs are toxic? I know my medication will be effective for 10 to 20 years of until bad cells mutate and are not affected by medication. I continue to eat healthy & exercise which benefits my health. Celebrating Long Life (CLL)

Thank you. I feel better knowing there's reasons for it. Have a good day.
